SNAPSHOT OF THE BNEFF 2012 TEAMS AND SEASON
By. Edd Gladney
With the 2012 season quickly approaching, the BNEFF was brought back with management looking to get back to what helped make the league successful. The teams in the BNEFF have started working hard, getting ready to hit the field and fight for the BNEFF’s “Gold Ball.” These teams are hungry to add their names to the list of previous champions, solidifying their name into history. This season will be filled with some new and exciting things.

Returning teams like the Trojans, Wolves, Panthers and the Phoenix are veteran teams that have the experience to win it all. The newer teams are working to have their longevity and stability.
The South Jersey Vikings are back on the field after a year away. They have veteran players whose names will resonate throughout the BNEFF and Semi-Pro football.

The South Jersey Cerberus has caused a major buzz having a former NFL Great as their Head Coach. They are in a prime region and look to build a dominating experience.

The Jersey Boxers look to create a knockout reputation in Bergen County. They have a great opportunity in a prime area where another former champion once resided.

The New Jersey Raptors are a new team, filled with veteran players, currently playing in a spring league. They are looking to develop chemistry and build upon an early proclamation of winning the championship.

The Brooklyn Bengals come to the BNEFF from another league. While they had a challenging season last year, they are young, hungry, and a team that plays with the “City” attitude, ready to fight tooth and nail to the end.

The New Jersey Invaders are a team that moved up from the BEFF, changed the team name, and an integrated ownership. They are crafty and will always be a tough out.

With the changes in 2012, the BNEFF will look to bring football fans some good games, develop quality rivalries, and expand to higher levels. Make sure you experience BNEFF football. It’s where we take it back to what it’s about, football and the fans

Cerberus First Pre-Season game
The South Jersey Cerberus have clinched their first pre-season battle. They will be facing off against the NJ Spartans. Two centuries old greek tales will clash on one field. For the first time in a long time, a Burlington County adult team will hit the field with only one thing in mind, VICTORY!

The Cerberus and the Spartans have a tie that most wouldn't know of. The current owner of the Cerberus once was the starting corner for the Spartans, but due to distance, Dorlorian Dickson had to part ways with the Spartans. Once he realized he could no longer play for the Spartans, he decided to start up his own team and since he made this decision, Dorlorian and Kevin Moss have been planning to make this game happen. Their hopes and wishes have come true, they will be taking battle June 30th in Bordentown, at Bordentown Regional Middle School at 3pm.

This will be the first time a lot of the guys from the Cerberus have played organized football in a long time. On the other hand the Spartans have played four spring league games and each saturday til the beginning of june will continue to do so. So, will the Cerberus be ready for a team that has been in season since March? Will the Spartans run through the Cerberus with easy? Only way to find out is to be there when it all goes down on June 30th at 3pm at 50 Dunns Mill Rd, Bordentown, NJ 08505. DONT MISS IT!
